Team Volunteers at World Vision

The Seneca Valley Swim & Dive used some of the time from their holiday break from school to volunteer at World Vision in Sewickley. World Vision is a humanitarian organization that partners with children, families, and communities to combat poverty and injustice.

27 members of the team split up and tackled a variety of assigments: unloading a truck of soccer balls, unpacking, sorting and preparing over 1200 clothing items, and separating items to be recycled. Volunteers worked for 3 hours to help prepare items that will eventually be sent oversees to those in need.

This is the second year in a row the athletes have volunteered at World Vision. Great job SV!
